Internship Work

So far, I have completed three graphic design internships during my college years. My first was with Scranton Fringe Festival, a nonprofit organization that brings awareness to performing arts through shows, concerts, festivals, and workshops for the artistic community in Scranton, PA. I worked remotely over the summer between sophomore and junior year as a graphic design intern. My second internship was during the spring semester in my junior year, with an agency, Design Done Right. This was also a remote internship, where I got to add more online experience to my portfolio by creating social media posts and responsive mockups for a variety of clients and websites. My third internship was a full-time in-person internship at ArtSkills in Bethlehem, PA. Here, I learned how an in-house art department operated through various projects including logo concept design, mission statement poster design, and brand identity design. I valued each experience greatly, as I learned more about my personal creative process, industry standards, deadlines, time management, and communication with a direct contact, whether that was in-person or remotely.
